YOUR IMPACT

In the role of Technical Product Owner for our Financial Automation solutions you will support multiple offerings, focus on developing new product and technology innovations to amplify the impact of our Financial Automation solutions supporting our product and business growth. We subscribe to the philosophy that Product Managers are effectively CEOs of their product and drive growth and success of the product with the help of engineering, design, marketing, sales etc. The following attributes are key to excel in this role: 

  • Thrive in Ambiguity: PMs carve the path and change it early and often as they collect more signals, while separating the noise.

  • Strong Leadership: PMs define the company’s point of view for their product, validating the strategy and roadmap. They anticipate, identify & solve potential problems while leading the decisions / consensus process.

  • Strong Execution: This entails leading your team with fast-paced execution, using user research and business objectives to inform decisions, learning from new information and adjusting accordingly, communicating and managing relationships with stakeholders.                           

 You will be responsible for delivering value to customers in a way that works for Redwood.  

Some of the things you will be expected to do with minimal supervision are:                      

  •  Planning and prioritizing the product areas and give overall direction on features and requirements from conceptual stages through product life cycles to meet operational, financial, and organizational objectives.                                                            

  • Analyzing customer feedback and usage metrics to identify key pain points.                                    

  • Managing team efforts in deliverables, overseeing initiation, prioritization, and cutting projects or features in partnership with Engineering teams.                                                                         

  • Identifying and resolving issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and/or technical goals.

  • Working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and improve product capabilities.

  • Collaborating with the go to market organization to enable use of the product across a wide range of usage types.

  • Influencing strategy and oversee multiple cross-functional teams defining, identifying, and tracking appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative/qualitative for products/business ventures.

  • Help teams and organizations communicate/collaborate effectively by setting a personal example.    

YOUR EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.

  • 4+ years of experience in product management ideally in a SaaS environment

Demonstrated Product Management Skills including:

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.   

  • Knowledge of the use and approach for the various discovery techniques.

  • Ability to optimize based on data.

  • Ability to drive adoption.

  • Clear understanding of the Agile Development processes. 

  • Experience contributing to leadership and engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.

Demonstrated leadership and people skills including:

  • Evangelism, inspiration and organizational leadership to various cross-functional teams in delivering high quality experiences to the users.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management.

  • Industry experience / working knowledge in finance automation.

  • Sharp analytical and quantitative skills while the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

  • Strong strategic aptitude; ability to define a winning business strategy and product road map, and execute complex product development cycles.

  • Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in building and launching innovative and user-friendly products.

  • Executive presence to influence teams and leaders at all levels.
