About the Role:
As a Product Owner for the Disability Migrations ART within the U.S. Group Benefits team, you will play a crucial role in migrating customers' reporting solution(s) from legacy systems to the new Catalyst platform. You will work closely with the Product Manager and other stakeholders to ensure successful migration and enhanced customer experience.
- Develop solutions to migrate customer's reporting solution from legacy systems to the Catalyst platform's reporting solution.
- Assist the Product Manager in writing and refining features.
- Write and prioritize user stories for one of the migration teams focused on reporting.
- Collaborate with other Product Managers and Product Owners on end-to-end customer solutions.
- Assist Solution Management and Product Management in planning the migration order from legacy systems to Catalyst.
- Support customer testing before migration and execute customer migrations.
- Support the Product Manager in executing the migration strategy.
- Coordinate support across business, IT, operational readiness teams, and other partners.
- Provide periodic progress and status updates on migration deliverables.
The Opportunity:
As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for bringing products to life by conveying product needs to the development team and ensuring value is delivered on proposed features. You will define incremental build solutions to achieve larger goals set by the Product Manager and oversee the day-to-day activities of multiple agile teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead multiple initiatives that will enhance customer experience and position MetLife as a leader in the voluntary product space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead backlog refinement and create features to define future enhancements.
- Oversee team priorities and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate closely with teams that own legacy systems, teams that own Catalyst systems, Operations, and customer facing teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years experience or knowledge in Agile Delivery Method.
- 5 years of experience with data and/or reporting tools
- 10 years of career experience in technology delivery, insurance claims management, or customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication skills
- Creative problem-solving skills to address complex issues and deliver value to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in agile delivery.
- SAFe training and certification.
- At least 5 years of experience with a reporting tool.
- At least 3 years of experience with Cognos.
- At least 3 years of experience as a product owner
The salary range for applicants for this position is $66,000-$112,000.
