JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
LOCATION: London
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in our London office
We’re seeking a forward-thinking Product Owner to join us in the Customer Data Services Platform, focusing on the transition to cloud-native data products and AI enablement.
Join us and you’ll deliver secure, high-quality, reusable data products supporting operational excellence, analytics, and intelligent automation.
While supporting our progress to cloud-first strategy and embedding AI capabilities into the platform, ensuring our customer data products are scalable, resilient, and insightful. You’ll also provide data services to colleagues needing access to data held on mainframe and API applications.
This role involves collaborating with colleagues across the group and platform to shape solutions that meet business outcomes and customer needs.
- prioritising, refining and managing Team Product backlog
- translating business and regulatory requirements into actionable features
- collaborating with engineers, data analysts, Customer Journey Managers (CJM’s) and architects to define and prioritise features that enhance data quality, accessibility, and intelligence
- driving automation and AI adoption across the platform, enabling agentic and generative AI capabilities for customer insight and decision-making
- ensuring compliance with change governance, data governance, privacy, and security standards
We are looking for someone who has a growth mindset with ability to adapt and dedication to product ownership. So, if this sounds like you we'd like to hear from you.
Specifically, we're looking for:
- experience in product ownership or delivery across both mainframe and cloud-based data platforms.
- customer centricity - promotes the value of customer in the solutions we deliver.
- strong understanding of cloud technologies (GCP, Azure), data lifecycle, and governance principles.
- familiarity with AI/ML concepts, data marketplaces, and semantic search technologies
- proven track record in influencing cross-functional teams and managing customer expectations
