This unit creates innovative solutions that automate logistical tasks such as order picking, packing, and inventory management, leveraging robotics, AI, and machine learning to optimise these processes.

OIA's technology plays a key role in Ocado's strategy to license its logistics and fulfilment solutions to retailers globally, enabling them to build automated, efficient, and scalable online grocery operations.

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and strategic Product Marketing Manager to join our team! In this role, you will develop product analyses, compelling narratives, and marketing materials to support commercial initiatives, with a focus on Ocado's autonomous mobile robot (AMR) solutions.

The AMR offering represents an exciting phase in Ocado's innovation journey, following the acquisition of 6 River Systems in 2023. This is a collaborative role where you will work with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market and make a tangible impact.

What you'll be doing:

Build Product Expertise:
Develop a deep understanding of the Ocado Mobile Robot System (OMRS), including:

  • The orchestration software and user interfaces for these systems.
  • The Mobile Fulfilment App for manual tasks and operations.

Create Engaging Content:
Develop materials for all stages of the marketing funnel, including:

  • Sales presentation slides.
  • Thought leadership content for blogs, events, and webinars.
  • Educational assets for prospects and customers.

Drive Messaging and Positioning:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to craft compelling product messaging, positioning, and commercial narratives that highlight our competitive strengths.
  • Develop go-to-market (GTM) plans for new products and feature launches, ensuring effective delivery and measurable impact.

Support Commercial Activities:

  • Manage content creation for product launches and trade show appearances.
  • Equip Sales and Commercial teams with up-to-date messaging and materials.
  • Create battlecards and perform competitor analyses to support the Sales team.

Collaborate Across Teams:

  • Work with Solutions and Customer Success teams to develop case studies and client communications.
  • Contribute to OIA's Guru knowledge base, ensuring resources and assets are easily accessible.
  • Partner with freelancers to deliver project briefs, storyboards, and scripts.

Monitor and Analyse:

  • Gather and share market research, competitive trends, and customer insights.
  • Conduct win-loss analyses to inform future strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose legacy content from 6 River Systems.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience in product marketing within a B2B technology company.
  • Proven track record of setting and executing GTM plans for new products and features.
  • Experience delivering product launches and participating in trade shows.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to quickly understand and explain technically complex subjects and technologies.
  • Experience developing a range of content types.
  • Experience managing webinars.
  • High attention to detail and an eye for good design.
  • Proven ability to deliver results while managing multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with both internal and external teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to different stakeholders, clients, and situations.
  • High technical literacy.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the robotics and/or warehouse automation industry.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
  • Familiarity with GSuite, Slack, Adobe, and HubSpot.
  • Experience using Jira or an equivalent project management tool.

What do I get in return:

  • Hybrid working (2 days in the office)
  • 30 days work from anywhere globally
  • Remote working for the month of August
  • 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 days after 5 years service (plus optional holiday purchase)
  • Pension scheme (various options available including employer contribution matching up to 7%)
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • 22 weeks paid maternity leave and 6 weeks paid paternity leave (once relevant service requirements complete)
  • Train Ticket loan (interest-free)
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Opportunity to participate in Share save and Buy as You Earn share schemes
  • 15% discount on Ocado.com and free delivery for all employees
  • Income Protection(can be up to 50% of salary for 3 years) and Life Assurance(3 x annual salary)
  • Free shuttle bus to and from Hatfield train station
