Group/Division

SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD®), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, and offers comprehensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

SPTS Technologies is the Division within KLA that designs, manufactures and markets wafer processing solutions for the global semiconductor and related industries.
Our Product Marketing Managers define the vision and roadmap for our future products, as well as supporting our existing business!

You will have experience in semiconductor processing and experience to succeed in this role. With an engaging presentation style, you'll be able to collaborate with all levels of the business. This role offers the opportunity to travel globally to engage with our customers. You will need to enjoy engaging with customers from a range of backgrounds and levels.
You will be comfortable delivering presentations on product capability to customers whilst developing and maintaining long-term relationships. Also, this role has responsibility for the qualification of new sales opportunities.
 

The Product Marketing Manager will research and understand device process flows and will be able to identify opportunities for business growth. For each opportunity, you would research the application requirements and show our position relative to the customers next best alternative. You would work with the Field teams to deliver product value collateral and help create the business strategy required to win the business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ownership alongside other product managers for the strategic Product road map. You'll lead all aspects of its implementation through our product life cycle process

  • With clear, professional presenting skills you’ll build product presentations for sales teams - ensuring the accurate product positioning per application, also preparing and delivering product sales training presentations at our Annual Sales Conference

  • Familiar with Product documentation, you’ll respond to customer specification / procurement documents. This will include providing demo reports and generating and updating System Configuration Documents (SCD) throughout the product lifecycle

  • Working with Market Analyst to develop market size projections

  • Hosting / co-hosting / coordinating customer visits for live demonstrations or show & tell visits

  • Writing, submitting papers to relevant conferences and trade shows

Minimum Qualifications

Degree in a Science/ technology field with experience in some areas previously listed
