Snapshot

As a Product Marketing Manager at Google DeepMind (GDM), you will be responsible for managing the marketing and go-to-market (GTM) efforts for Google DeepMind’s Impact Accelerator. You will play an integral role in defining and executing a comprehensive marketing plan for 2025 for how we show AI’s real-world impact across domains like science, sustainability and education.

The role

You’ll work closely with the Impact Accelerator organization and GDM Marcomms to define the marketing strategy and overall narrative for the priority domains to increase trust with our audience. You’ll collaborate with researchers to uncover inspiring use cases and develop a go-to-market plan that amplifies marketing assets at strategic moments and across different comms channels externally and internally. You’re a passionate, creative storyteller with a particular interest in the cross-section of AI and its impact on society. 

Key responsibilities

  • Developing the 2025 marketing plan for the Impact Accelerator that shows the real-world social impact of Google DeepMind’s AI technology across science, sustainability and education domains. 
  • Using creative storytelling to craft engaging narratives of GDM’s AI technology that are more human, simple and relevant to our audience
  • Working with a team of content producers. agency resources and xfn Google teams to execute on marketing deliverables including video case studies, blog posts, executive presentations and social media assets ensuring all assets are delivered on-time, on-brand and in-budget
  • Partnering with the Google DeepMind Marketing Insights Manager to develop a framework to track and measure performance and impact of the marketing plan 
  • Aligning key stakeholders including GDM Impact Accelerator, GDM Marcomms and broader Google teams on priorities to reach shared objectives

About you

In order to set you up for success as a Product Marketing Manager at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven track record of success in product marketing, strategic consulting or product management.
  • Experience developing compelling narratives, building impactful GTM strategies and managing complex marketing campaigns 
  • Previous marketing experience in AI, science or emerging technology is ideal
  • Passion for the intersection of AI and social impact and how it can be used as a force for positive change
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful stories, product messaging and positioning, and scaled launches
  • Successful at working collaboratively across highly technical teams, including research scientists, engineers and product managers across multiple time zones
