Workiva’s Product Marketing team leads the go-to-market strategy for Workiva's premier cloud-based financial and regulatory reporting platform tailored for organisations across the globe. As a Product Marketing Manager you'll support the go-to-market efforts specifically focusing on Financial Reporting solutions.

The Product Marketing Manager for Financial Reporting is a subject-matter expert who supports the go-to-market strategies for products and solutions in their area of expertise, including product positioning, marketing strategy, and sales enablement to drive buyer awareness and desired business outcomes. You'll support product and solution launches cross-departmentally, identify and prioritize product features while providing consulting and management support to the assigned business initiative.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the creation of a go-to-market strategy for financial reporting products and solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals

  • Build a deep and credible understanding of the market: dynamics, tail and headwinds, competition, technology trends, buyer mindsets, personas and ideal customer profiles

  • Assist in managing platform and point-solution initiatives to drive sales efforts and support revenue and profit goals.

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of thought leadership content (such as webinars, blogs, white papers) to build credibility, raise awareness, and support pipeline growth

  • Work closely with Product Management, Sales and other teams to support the roll-out of sales enablement tools and resources

  • Assist in product positioning and competitive analysis to better understand market trends and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with customers, Product Management, and Sales to explore opportunities and gather feedback on financial reporting solutions

  • Identify key customer requirements and market trends to help improve the financial reporting offering.

  • Provide support to marketing and sales teams, helping to identify emerging market opportunities

  • Conduct market segmentation to define the ideal customer profile and uncover whitespace opportunities

  • Perform competitive analysis and market research to identify and prioritize key product capability requirements for future development

What You’ll Need 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • 4+ years experience of product marketing, marketing, product or related functions

  • Experience on Financial Reporting processes - preferably with experience in SaaS solutions

  • Enterprise-level marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interest and/or experience in business-to-business (B2B) tech marketing

  • Familiarity with industry technologies relevant to financial reporting processes and buyer personas

  • Ability to assist in implementing go-to-market strategies that align with product-led growth, with guidance from senior team members

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with various teams and stakeholders, from buyers to internal teams, including listening skills

  • Support in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to drive initiatives

  • Analytical mindset with an eagerness to learn how to derive insights from data to inform decisions

  • Ability to support and contribute to the optimisation of business strategies

  • Strong listening, communication, and program management skills, with a focus on growth and learning.

  • Understanding of European and global financial services markets

Working Conditions & Travel Requirement

  • Up to 20% travel for events and internal meetings

  • Reliable internet access for any period working remotely, not in a Workiva office
