Clarivate is seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to support our Intellectual Property division! The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting go-to-market activities and organizational enablement of Clarivate’s Brand IP portfolio, and you’ll play an important role in advancing the category strategy to achieve revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction goals. 

As a key member of the Clarivate Brand IP team, you will contribute to the adoption, expansion, and retention of Clarivate Brand IP software, services and data with impactful product launches, go-to-market initiatives, and sales enablement. You will build and maintain an in-depth understanding of buyer personas, use cases and competitors to build effective positioning that aligns to customer needs. 

A trusted business partner, you will craft and communicate unique value propositions and partner with the broader marketing organization to increase awareness, drive demand and reinforce Clarivate’s market-leading position in Brand IP. Working cross-functionally with the sales enablement and product teams, you will launch new capabilities and enhancements. By creating effective product positioning, sales tools and compelling content that connects with target buyers, you will enable revenue growth. This position is highly cross-functional, working globally in partnership with product management, sales, customer education, and the broader marketing organization. 

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments… 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • 5-7 years of experience in Product Marketing or Product Management within a mid-to-large sized corporation   

It would be great if you also had… 

  • MBA or advanced degree 

  • Product Marketing experience in software, data, or services 

  • B2B Product Marketing experience 

  • Prior experience working in the IP (intellectual property) industry 

  • Experience with a global/multi-national organization 

What will you be doing in this role?... 

  • Plan and track programs that support product launches, enhancements, and commercial programs in support of new business and retention, working across product marketing, segment marketing, demand strategy, field marketing, and customer marketing, as well as with creative and web teams 

  • Drive the development of clear and compelling messaging and value propositions that differentiate product sets in the market globally and by region 

  • Work with product management, sales and consulting, as well as across the marketing organization to build buyer personas and map the customer journey, while identifying opportunities to optimize the customer experience 

  • Support the launch of new products and commercial programs driving revenue and retention in partnership with product management, sales enablement, industry, and demand marketing, including internal readiness and external communications 

  • Communicate the value proposition of the products and enhancements to sales while assisting in the development of messaging and tools that enable sales to grow the business (internal and external release communications and corresponding sales tools) 

  • Partner with creative teams (internally and externally) to manage the development of content, including sales tools, marketing content (product videos, case studies, white papers), competitive battle cards, web content, social media content, and more 

About the Team 

The Clarivate Brand IP product marketing team partners closely with product, sales, and marketing to advance the category strategy and key go-to-market initiatives. Together, we help our customers make faster, more informed decisions for building, protecting and commercializing innovation. As part of the broader marketing organization, we collaborate closely with industry, demand, and field marketing colleagues to deliver compelling narratives that support solution selling.  

You will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, Product Marketing. 

Hours of Work 

This is a full-time permanent position based out of our London office on a hybrid basis, 2 days per week in the office.

This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
