Role Overview:

We have an amazing opportunity for a market savvy, revenue-oriented Director, Product Marketing to fuel our global growth, reputation, and category evolution.  Reporting directly to the VP of Global Marketing, this senior leader will infuse deep market insights throughout the company, drive crisp and differentiated messaging for all our offerings, fuel our campaigns with compelling content and offers across the buyer journey, create highly effective product launches and packaging options, and enable sales in a balanced customer expansion and new logo acquisition GTM motion with all the knowledge and tools needed to win. 

About the Position

We have an amazing opportunity for a market savvy, revenue-oriented Director, Product Marketing to fuel our global growth, reputation, and category evolution.  Reporting directly to the VP of Global Marketing, this senior leader will infuse deep market insights throughout the company, drive crisp and differentiated messaging for all our offerings, fuel our campaigns with compelling content and offers across the buyer journey, create highly effective product launches and packaging options, and enable sales in a balanced customer expansion and new logo acquisition GTM motion with all the knowledge and tools needed to win. 

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cybersecurity and/or technical multi-product platforms. A track record of successfully positioning for category leadership within a well-defined ideal customer profile (IDP) is also key.

The right candidate is an excellent strategist who also enjoys rolling up his/her sleeves to get stuff done!  Transitioning a team from manual workflows to AI-augmented processes is either a proven part of your playbook or you’ve done some productive pilots and are ready to scale.
This is an incredible opportunity to shape the market and position for leadership as we capitalize on our $10 billion market opportunity in AI, data, and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market insights: synthesize and socialize actionable insights from customers, prospects, competitors and the broader market, to influence positioning, messaging, sales strategy, and product roadmap.

  • Drive go-to-market (GTM) positioning including thought leadership, market analysis, competitive landscape, value proposition, differentiated messaging, high-value offers, pricing, and packaging for the entire Conexiom Platform.

  • Messaging: lead development of customer-centric messaging and competitive positioning that crisply conveys customer value, business outcomes, and our differentiation.

  • Compelling content: create/orchestrate audience-centric content across the entire buyer journey including videos, ebooks, assessment tools, brochures, blogs, white papers, presentations, demos etc., for customer facing and sales enablement needs.

  • Win rate improvement: enable sales productivity, efficiency, and win rates through a holistic program of onboarding and ongoing training courses, enablement tools, and certification programs for sales, customer success, and partners.

  • Thought leadership: Act as a spokesperson for the product, to support speaking engagements in events, webinars, analyst briefings, etc. 

  • Analysts: Influence and create positioning for analyst relations around the product, to ensure coverage and a leading position in analyst reports.

  • Product launches: Oversee launch planning for new offerings – including deep understanding of product roadmap, features, differentiators, and customer value to communicate clear and concise use cases.

  • Champion of consistency: Drive consistency and clarity of our messaging and positioning across all internal and external stakeholders.

  • Leadership & collaboration: build and mentor a high performing team that works closely with sales, product management, demand generation, corporate marketing, customer success, and external partners.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 12+ years of product marketing leadership experience within cybersecurity, SaaS  or disruptive technology (i.e. AI/ML) industries with the most recent 4+ years of experience in a global, product marketing leadership role for a growth company.

  • Strong proven background  in content creation, product positioning, analyst relations, competitive analysis, branding and sales enablement preferably in the security industry.

  • An excellent track record of leading, developing and mentoring a global product marketing team. 

  • Excellent writing, communications and presentation skills as well as exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and communications suitable for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work effectively with multiple stakeholders across different function areas.

  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with an ability to build strong working relationships across levels, departments, and geographically dispersed office locations.

  • Available for travel to regional offices, site visits, industry conferences and events.

  • Driven, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Strong technical background required.

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business required.  MBA preferred.
