Job Description

The UKIE Product Manager Paediatric Ophthalmology is a newly opened position that will play a key role in driving growth of Santen’s newly launched myopia product and existing portfolio. The role focuses on brand management, working cross-functionally to support paediatric myopia management and deliver aligned marketing and digital initiatives.

What you will do

  • Lead the cascade and implementation of the Brand Plan for the relevant brands for which they take responsibility. Provide updates on activity and implementation milestones at marketing meetings.
  • Lead communication and implementation of brand plans with the customer facing teams.
  • Collate metrics and insights from across business to explain brand performance and outlook in line with sales targets.
  • Collect and share all key market insights, environmental and competitor dynamics, customer and patient needs/ insights via primary and secondary market research, KOLs, country and customer visits etc.
  • Ensure plans are adjusted and prompt actions taken to address any key issues and opportunities identified.
  • Work regularly to meet customers, go on field visits, work with sales team to understand latest market developments, gather feedback, and identify ideas/opportunities and best practices.
  • Develop and gain medico-legal approval through Veeva PromoMats for key brand materials, campaigns and programs based on brand strategy and plans. Provide optimal roll-out.
  • Develop and implement effective and innovative marketing programs and contribute to EMEA planning and brand discussions.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role

  • University degree or equivalent in science and/or business
  • 2-3+ years marketing experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience of being part of a brand planning process and having completed a complete brand plan cycle.
  • Experience managing external agencies (creative/med comms)
  • Experience gathering, analyzing and sharing market & customer insights and proposing how plans could evolve to leverage these insights
  • Experience in product commercialization and branding
  • Ability to lead a cross functional team to execute on key brand plan programmes.
  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills (upwards/ across matrix/downwards)
