This position reports to:

Local Division Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and drive the implementation of a portfolio strategy to support the relevant business strategy. You will lead local product management activities and support relevant sales teams in positioning, promoting and selling the drives portfolio. The role involves a strong level of cross-business collaboration with a focus on technical and commercial aspects and supporting business growth.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

Work model: Office based with travel.

  • Develops and implements the portfolio strategy in the local market meeting business objectives, aligned to the global strategy.

  • Provides support to the local sales teams in promoting and selling the Drive Products portfolio.

  • Defines and communicates product value propositions and positioning.

  • Prepares business plans focused on business development for a defined market and product, develops go-to-market strategies and pricing policies.

  • Evaluates market opportunities and proposes appropriate activities in line with the strategy by understanding market and customer requirements.

  • Creates demand through technical promotion, with solutions and value-based selling approach.

  • Develops and implements product support and product training.

  • Collaborates with the Product Management organization on business and performance tracking, market intelligence, roadmap planning, lifecycle management, among others.

Qualifications for the Role
  • Technical and commercial focus, ability to demonstrate your experience in the area of Product/Portfolio Management, Business Development, value propositions & positioning and training.

  • Strong customer and market focus, able to position the portfolio in a highly competitive market and translate customer requirements to support portfolio development activities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively and co-ordinate Product Management activities across sales teams and functions.

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.

  • Extensive knowledge and proven experience in drives and automation.

  • Passionate about technology, innovation, sustainability and energy efficiency.

  • Candidates must have permission to work in the UK as no visa support for this role..

  • Holder of a full UK driving licence.
