About NexGen Cloud & Hyperstack

NexGen Cloud is a fast-growing technology company building next-generation GPU cloud infrastructure for AI and high-performance computing workloads.

We are the team behind Hyperstack, a high-performance, on-demand GPU-as-a-Service platform used by AI developers, research teams, startups, and enterprises running compute-intensive workloads such as model training, inference, and large-scale data processing.

Unlike many platforms that sit on top of third-party hyperscalers, NexGen Cloud owns and operates the full infrastructure stack — from GPU hardware, accelerated compute clusters, networking, and storage through to orchestration, APIs, billing, security, and developer tooling.

This end-to-end ownership allows us to deliver performance, reliability, and cost efficiency at scale while working with the real constraints of hardware, datacentre infrastructure, and distributed systems.

Hyperstack is evolving into a full-stack AI compute platform spanning GPU infrastructure, Kubernetes workloads, AI tooling, developer APIs, and enterprise-grade cloud environments.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager for Hyperstack, our flagship GPU cloud platform.

Hyperstack is scaling rapidly — in infrastructure footprint, customer adoption, and platform complexity. As NexGen Cloud continues expanding its GPU cloud offering, we need clear product ownership to ensure the platform evolves in a way that is technically credible, commercially aligned, and grounded in real infrastructure and customer needs.

This is a senior, high-ownership role.

At NexGen Cloud, Product Managers sit at the centre of the organisation — working directly with the Head of Software Development, infrastructure engineering leaders, platform teams, commercial teams, and executives.

You will not just “manage a backlog.”

You will own the product: shaping strategy, driving delivery, representing Hyperstack internally, enabling teams, and ensuring the business understands what we are building, why it matters, and how the platform evolves as AI infrastructure scales.

Hyperstack is a complex, production infrastructure system spanning GPU clusters, compute orchestration, networking, storage, scheduling, APIs, authentication, billing, and operational tooling.

This role requires someone comfortable operating in high-scale infrastructure environments, making product decisions where hardware, distributed systems, and real operational constraints intersect.

What You’ll Be DoingProduct Ownership & Strategy

Own the Hyperstack product roadmap end-to-end, balancing customer needs, infrastructure realities, commercial priorities, and long-term platform strategy.

Ensure the roadmap is technically credible, commercially aligned, and clearly communicated across engineering, infrastructure, sales, support, and leadership teams.

Act as the internal product authority for Hyperstack — ensuring clarity on what we are building, why it matters, and how the platform evolves.

Delivery & Execution

Work day-to-day alongside the Head of Software Development and infrastructure engineering leaders to drive delivery across multiple platform initiatives.

Break down complex infrastructure challenges into clear, shippable product initiatives that maintain momentum in a fast-moving environment.

Ensure initiatives move from concept through to production deployment with clear ownership, sequencing, and measurable outcomes.

Deep Technical Engagement

Develop and maintain a strong working understanding of:

  • IaaS / GPUaaS primitives (VMs, containers, scheduling, quotas, networking, storage)

  • GPU infrastructure (PCIe vs SXM architectures, NVLink interconnects, multi-GPU systems, scaling constraints)

  • Cluster orchestration and distributed compute environments

  • APIs, orchestration flows, system dependencies, and operational failure modes

You do not need to write production code — but you must be technically fluent enough to engage credibly with engineers, challenge assumptions, and make informed product trade-offs.

Technical Engagement, Scale and Improvement

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Hyperstack’s technical architecture, including GPU infrastructure, orchestration layers, infrastructure automation, APIs, and platform reliability concerns.

Engage closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to guide product decisions that balance performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Identify opportunities to simplify, optimise, and scale the platform as adoption increases — improving reliability, performance, and developer experience.

Contribute beyond your immediate remit where necessary — helping raise the bar for product thinking and shaping how product operates within NexGen Cloud.

Build shared understanding across the organisation of how the platform works, who it serves, and how it should evolve.

Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to leadership and stakeholders.

Customer, Market & Operational Insight

Maintain strong feedback loops with customers, support teams, and internal stakeholders.

Translate real-world usage signals into product decisions — ensuring Hyperstack evolves based on genuine infrastructure and customer needs rather than assumptions.

Stay close to the rapidly evolving AI infrastructure and GPU cloud ecosystem, ensuring the platform remains competitive and technically credible.

About YouEssential

5–8+ years experience as a Product Manager (or equivalent) working on complex technical platforms.

Direct hands-on experience managing products in environments such as:

  • Cloud infrastructure (IaaS / PaaS)

  • GPU cloud platforms or accelerated compute environments

  • High-Performance Computing (HPC)

  • Developer platforms or distributed systems

Proven track record of owning products with:

  • Real operational complexity

  • Cross-team dependencies

  • Production reliability requirements

Experience working closely and continuously with engineering teams in delivery environments, not at arm’s length.

Understanding of AI workloads, LLMs, model inference, token usage, and fine-tuning workflows.

Working knowledge of Kubernetes and its role in distributed compute and AI infrastructure.

How You Work

Highly self-directed — able to operate effectively without heavy supervision.

Comfortable operating at high speed without losing clarity or quality.

Strong communicator who can:

  • Explain complex systems simply

  • Report clearly to executives

  • Align diverse technical and commercial stakeholders

Confident making decisions with incomplete information and adapting quickly as conditions change.

Maintain a strong personal bar for ownership, follow-through, and accountability.

Desirable

Prior experience in a scaling startup or growth-stage infrastructure company.

Background in engineering, SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure-adjacent roles.

Familiarity with GPU workloads, AI/ML infrastructure, HPC clusters, or distributed compute platforms.

Experience helping shape product processes in a growing organisation.

Why This Role Is Different

You are not inheriting a finished product — you are shaping one of the core pillars of NexGen Cloud.

You will have direct influence on product and platform strategy, not just delivery.

You will work alongside deeply technical infrastructure teams building real GPU cloud platforms, not surface-level abstractions.

Your work will have visible impact across technology, customers, and commercial outcomes.

As the platform scales, this role naturally expands in scope, influence, and leadership responsibility.

Who Will Thrive Here

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Has built and operated complex infrastructure or platform products

  • Enjoys working where product, engineering, and business intersect

  • Is motivated by ownership and real impact

  • Wants to help shape a platform at the heart of the AI infrastructure ecosystem
