Position Overview

As a Product Manager for one of Axelera’s product lines, you will own the product definition, ensuring consistency and alignment across silicon, software, and hardware. You will deeply understand the target market, driving a winning roadmap while ensuring flawless product delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Market & Product Strategy:

    • Study, absorb, and understand customer needs, market trends, technical trade-offs, and competitive landscapes.

    • Distill this knowledge into key insights that drive the product strategy and roadmap.

  • Product Definition & Requirements:

    • Articulate clear product requirements and manage the various aspects of your product scope (silicon, hardware, software, marketing) into a coherent whole.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Coordinate with marketing, sales, customer support, and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery of the product.

    • Lead the market vision for your product, gather feedback, and create a shared vision for success within Axelera.

  • Execution & Delivery:

    • Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to unblock challenging situations, analyze complex trade-offs, and ensure execution.

  • Go-To-Market Strategy:

    • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to articulate the product's advantages, key selling points, and go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years in product management roles. Additional experience in engineering, product marketing, or technical support is beneficial, but direct product management experience is essential.

  • The role involves a broad technical scope. The candidate must have demonstrable experience contributing as a PM or in another capacity in at least two of the following areas (the more the better): machine learning (CNN, transformer-based networks), compilers (TVM, MLIR), software and hardware challenges integrating PCIe accelerators, edge systems (embedded and industrial PCs, servers, workstations), computer vision ecosystem.

  • A track record of thriving in high-growth startups or environments with first-rate engineering teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead product vision, synthesize customer feedback and market insights, and drive a product to market success.

  • Effective at working closely with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical details in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Additional desirable qualifications:

    • Experience in automotive SoC development

    • Experience working in European projects

Location

We offer a flexible working arrangement, with options to:

  • Work from one of our Axelera AI offices (Leuven in Belgium, Amsterdam and Eindhoven in the Netherlands, Zurich in Switzerland, Florence and Milan in Italy or Bristol in the United Kingdom) if you're already based in the vicinity.

  • Work fully remotely from any European country (incl. the UK) you are already in.

  • Relocate with us and work from Amsterdam or Eindhoven (Netherlands) or Florence (Italy).
