About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is looking for their next challenge to develop and build on their skills! 

At ITW, we innovate from the customer back, not from the research and development centre out. This ‘Customer Back Innovation’ approach delivers products with sustainable differentiation and is the company’s most significant growth driver. The Product Manager’s main responsibility is to define and execute a product roadmap to deliver on our business goals.

This role works closely with all departments, from Engineering to Sales to effectively articulate, build and promote our value proposition. It is an exciting opportunity to join a growing international company and be in the engine room to help develop our future strategy.

This is both a ‘hands on’ and strategic role which will suit someone with a technical background who has a competitive personality with a will to win, possessing a ‘can do’ attitude.

Responsibilities

Product Management Expertise

  • Identification of opportunities through customer insight activities including Voice of the Customer
  • Business case development
  • Evaluation of opportunities and ownership of product roadmap
  • Responsible for developing and validating product value propositions
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch and post launch activities
  • Monitor KPIs, track product metrics and make data driven decisions to optimise product performance and maximise revenue potential.


Stakeholder Management Expertise

  • Collaborate with all stakeholders; Commercial, Technical and Leadership, both internally and externally
  • Responsible for prioritisation and decision making to meet the objectives of the project
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and demonstrate commercial acumen


Strategic Thinking

  • Responsible for making strategic decisions about what features to include and when to release them
  • Responsible for determining the pricing strategy.


Technical Expertise

  • Understand the function, operation and range of our systems

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in Product Management (approx. 5-10 years)
  • Engineering qualification
  • Customer focussed and creative
  • Analytical thinker
