The role
We’re looking for a Product Manager to help shape and improve our custom-built internal platform. Our internal platform is central to everything Zuno does, it is the engine that powers Zuno’s operations - from installation jobs and engineer management to order fulfilment and customer support - for some of the biggest installers in the UK. This role is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact, high-visibility internal products that drive efficiency and scalability across the entire business.
You’ll own an area of the post-purchase experience and be fully responsible for its success. You’ll work closely alongside the rest of the post-purchase tribe, consisting of other Product Managers, Data Analysts, Engineers and Designers. Previous product management experience is essential.
What you’ll be doing
Own a defined product area within our post-purchase tribe, leading one of our agile, cross-functional squads end-to-end.
Define and drive the product roadmap for your area, ensuring clear alignment to company strategy and OKRs.
Blend user research, business context and quantitative data to identify the most important problems to solve and validate the best solutions. User research includes regular travel (minimum once per month with overnight stay) up to our head office in Leeds, to meet with our operations team face-to-face.
Take full ownership of your problem space, making clear prioritisation decisions based on impact, effort and strategic value.
Define success metrics up front and use data to evaluate outcomes, iterate quickly and ensure measurable impact.
Communicate progress, trade-offs and decisions clearly to stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership.
Proactively identify risks, dependencies and opportunities within your product area, and take action to address them.
Elevate product at Zuno, actively contributing to the maturation of our product org, processes, culture and development.
Who you are
You have 3 or more years of experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced, technology-led company. Experience working on internal platforms, technical products or within an Operations context is highly desirable.
You are outcome-focused and comfortable being accountable for measurable business impact and ROI, not just delivery of features. You have experience measuring return on investment for the things you build.
You are a confident, clear communicator (both verbal and written) who can create the right narrative to share your ideas. You have experience communicating effectively at all levels of an organisation and are able to influence decision making and product direction from your wider business context and specific domain knowledge.
You understand agile principles and how to apply them pragmatically to ship value consistently.
You are comfortable working with data to inform decisions and define meaningful success metrics, and you have experience using a range of data tools to do this (PostHog, Google Analytics, Looker, PowerBI or similar).
You’re a fast learner and can operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment and can prioritise independently.
You build strong relationships within your squad (design, data, developers and QA) and create clarity that enables you and others to perform at their best.
Nice to haves
Experience working on products that serve operations, customer support or fulfilment.
Experiencing working on an internal platform.
Ability to use SQL to independently measure ROI and success of initiatives.
A side note
A diverse range of abilities and perspectives is what helps our product teams to excel. If you don’t quite meet all of the points above, but you love the role and you’re eager to learn, then we encourage you to still apply!
