Product Manager - Treasury Systems

Product

Ebury London Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager for our Treasury domain. This role is critical to ensuring our financial visibility and the integrity of our global liquidity position, involving close collaboration with engineering, treasury, finance, and external vendors. As the owner of this domain, you will be responsible for the seamless flow of data from transactional systems into our Treasury Management System (TMS), currently powered by FIS Quantum. Your ultimate goal is to provide the Treasury function with the most reliable information system to optimize cash management, forecasting, and risk valuation.

What you’ll do

  • Define the Roadmap for Treasury Systems: Develop a deep understanding of Ebury’s transactional flows—including FX trades (client and hedging), cash allocations, and reconciled payments—to ensure accurate data ingestion into the TMS.
  • Optimize Cash Management & Visibility: Drive features that provide real-time cash visibility across bank accounts and enhance forecasting capabilities based on trade maturities, cash sweeps, and third-party settlements.
  • Oversee Banking Reconciliation Logic: Ensure the system accurately acknowledges every bank account balance, justifies deltas, and reconciles bank flows against expected cashflows from trades and payments.
  • Manage Market Data & Valuations: Oversee the integration of market feeds, including valuation rates and interest curves, to produce precise Mark-to Market (MtM) valuations for open transactions.
  • Drive System Evolution: Evaluate the performance of the current FIS Quantum setup; identify gaps to build complementary in-house features or lead the strategic analysis for a potential future system replacement.
  • Collaborate with Engineering: Define technical requirements for data pipelines between internal transactional engines and the TMS, prioritizing features based on operational efficiency and financial risk reduction.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary bridge between the technical teams and the Treasury department, communicating project status, system health, and strategic data integrity.

What you’ll need

  • Proven Product Management Experience: Minimum of 3 years in product management, specifically within FinTech, Banking, or Treasury-focused domains.
  • Domain Expertise in Treasury: Deep understanding of cash management, liquidity forecasting, and the mechanics of FX trade settlements.
  • Technical Literacy: Familiarity with how data flows across disparate systems and an understanding of how transactional events translate into treasury movements.
  • Strong Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex datasets and financial messages to identify patterns and ensure high-fidelity data mapping.
  • Problem-Solving & Documentation: Experience handling complex financial logic and the ability to produce high-quality documentation for system evaluations or in-house builds.
  • Vendor Management: Experience working with or managing third-party financial software providers (e.g., FIS, Kyriba, or similar TMS platforms).

Why Ebury?

  • Competitive Starting Salary with an annual discretionary bonus that truly rewards your performance from day one.
  • Dedicated Mentorship: Learn directly from experienced managers who are invested in your success.
  • Cutting-Edge Technology: Leverage state-of-the-art tailor made tools and systems that enable you to perform at your best.
  • Clear, Accelerated Career Progression: Defined pathways to leadership and specialist roles within Ebury.
  • Dynamic & Supportive Culture: Work in a collaborative environment where teamwork and personal growth are prioritized.
  • Generous Benefits Package: Access competitive benefits tailored to your location, which typically include health care and social benefits.
  • Central London Office: A fantastic location with excellent transport links.
