Job Description
Join our team and work directly with our Sustainability Applications Leader to lead the charge in transforming IFS' sustainability strategy into reality. A growing team lead role, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovative investments and creating cutting-edge product roadmaps that make a real impact for our customers. This role is not just about managing projects; it's about growing into a leader who inspires and manages product managers dedicated to sustainability initiatives.
As a Product Manager in Sustainability Applications, you will be at the forefront of driving IFS' sustainability vision. You will identify and prioritize investment cases, create and maintain product roadmaps, and ensure cross-functional collaboration to drive sustainability investments across the IFS Cloud product portfolio. Your role will involve managing and tracking all relevant dependencies, aligning the roadmap with the overall strategy and vision of Sustainability Applications. You will also be responsible for identifying and driving IFS.ai use cases related to sustainability and the overall monetization of sustainability and sustainability-related AI.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
- Understand customer needs and industry demands.
- Provide insights and leadership in relevant sectors.
- Define the unique value and differentiators of products/services.
- Identify key investment areas and prioritize initiatives.
- Collaborate on and communicate product roadmaps and strategic direction.
- Work with product marketing to craft clear messaging and marketing strategies to reach target audiences.
- Analyze competitors to gain insights for positioning and innovation.
- Promote and advocate for the company’s products and solutions externally.
- Foster internal knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Lead the execution of identified investments and initiatives.
- Manage and motivate teams to achieve performance goal
Qualifications
Overall Required Competence
- Functional and/or technical domain expertise.
- Insight into product strategy definition, market trends, and innovation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Stakeholder management.
- Understanding of the product management process and investment prioritization
Desirable:
- Sustainability understanding of targeted industries, market dynamics, and customer challenges.
- Experience in relevant industries and markets, with a track record of interacting with customers and partners.
- Proven ability to prioritize, present, and inspire teams and stakeholders.
- University degree or equivalent professional qualifications in technology or sustainability.
- Experience with agile development methodology
- Experience of working with globally distributed teams
