Product Manager – Private Markets

This is a great job for someone who has demonstrable industry product knowledge, allied with knowledge on product trends, industry innovations and regulatory landscapes for private markets.

A bit about the job:

The Product Manager – Private Markets is accountable for ensuring the existing product range remains relevant and fit for purpose and is the first point of contact for product related queries / change requests on existing private markets products. This will involve close collaboration with Private Markets product developers to ensure a consistent and coherent approach across a complex product suite. The role covers ongoing product management changes of existing products.  In addition to this you will be the first point of contact for Sales and all other Aviva Investors functions for Private Markets product related queries and support business functions in resolution of day-to-day product issues. You will also be accountable for proactive range management of existing products and making recommendations for changes where required.  This includes overseeing completion of Product Feasibility assessments with particular focus on analysis of existing customer impact (e.g. vulnerable customers) and delivering good customer outcomes, and the implementation of product changes.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience & IMC or CAIA or similar qualifications welcomed

  • Track record of successfully implementing product changes including fund wind downs and restructures. 

  • Effective and up to date regulatory knowledge of private markets landscape, to ensure that product changes are compliant with evolving regulatory changes.

  • An accomplished communicator, comfortable in all environments – colleagues, team members, internal - around private markets products.

  • A highly organised self-motivated individual with the ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
