Purpose of the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead our Entitlements team. The Entitlements team is an Agile development team based in Berlin and London with responsibility for the authorisation services that underlie our content platforms like Springer Nature Link and Nature.com. These services are essential to Springer Nature's institutional and individual sales and for enabling researcher access to scientific content on our platforms. The role involves working closely with our internal content platform and business systems teams to set a direction for the Entitlements services and to support innovations across Springer Nature that require the services.
Experience working on an Agile development team, strong interpersonal skills, and strong analytic thinking are all essential. Experience in academic publishing and with eCommerce, Identity & Access Management, and Business Systems is an advantage, but is not essential. We are open to hiring a promising Product Manager with less than 5 years of experience who is seeking to develop their skills and career.
This is a 6 to 12 month fixed term contract providing cover for parental leave. The role is based in Berlin, London or Lisbon.
