Job Description

Checkout.com is seeking a Product Manager to join our Activation & Risk Assessment Product team, based in our London office. Our team is responsible for making it easy for merchants to quickly and easily start using any Checkout.com product through experiences that are delightful, compliant and secure. 

This role will support the foundations of the long-term vision and strategy for the product area. You’ll play a critical role in defining the onboarding experience for Checkout’s evolving merchant use cases and expanding geographic coverage.

As a Product Manager, you will: 

  • Use research and data to discover opportunities to continuously improve the Checkout.com onboarding experience and tooling used in continuous risk lifecycle management

  • Craft our strategy and define clear roadmaps for onboarding and merchant lifecycle experiences across Checkout.com products for merchants in all regions

  • Prioritise for impact and work with our design and engineering teams to execute on new features to a high standard

  • Partner with operations, support, and commercial teams to continuously simplify and automate how merchants to start their partnership with Checkout.com 

  • Regularly interact with senior leaders to share insights and review strategy 

  • Work closely with third party providers to ensure they are able to support and deliver the highest level of service that we provide to our merchants


Qualifications

  •  3–5 years of experience in Product Management

  • Proven experience building complex products in a rapidly scaling B2B or B2C environment

  • You think from the customer perspective and are able to balance future opportunities with immediate needs

  • You can clearly define success metrics and measure progress against them

  • Any experience in the domains of risk assessment, fraud, financial crime, applied machine learning, or workflow automation is a nice-to-have

  • Relevant experience in payments or fintech is welcome
