Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Drive the growth of Mobile Gaming Hub & Instant Plays 1.0 across the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, focusing on MADs, user engagement, and improving the overall user experience.

  • Act as the key liaison between Samsung’s European subsidiaries, particularly in the UK and Germany, to align strategies and ensure smooth product rollout.

  • Monitor and manage OKRs/KPIs, ensuring alignment with regional business goals and the expansion of the gaming ecosystem.

  • Use data-driven insights to identify monetisation opportunities, support partner QBRs, and refine business strategies.

  • Support the Product Lead to develop and optimise UA & retention strategies for Instant Plays 1.0, Gaming Hub, and Cloud Gaming.

  • Collaborator management across the Global Service Business Group, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and structured reporting (PDR).

  • Manage localisation and regional adaptation of service features, considering user behaviour, regulatory compliance, and market trends.

  • Support the launch of a new mobile cloud gaming service, ensuring smooth cross-functional coordination.

  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to improve service promotion, user onboarding, and engagement strategies.

  • Conduct EU market research to support the Gaming Hub PRD & ad format development.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience in Technical Operations, Product Curation, or Lifecycle Marketing, preferably within gaming, entertainment, or digital platforms.

  • HTML proficiency is crucial.

  • Fluency in German is highly preferred.

  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with individuals from various time zones and cultural backgrounds.

  • Expert knowledge of the mobile gaming ecosystem, including game stores, HTML5 games, downloadable games, cloud gaming, and digital service operations.

  • Deep understanding of mobile gaming monetisation, including Ads and In-App Purchases (IAPs).

  • Strong analytical abilities, with experience in crafting dashboards, monitoring goals and achievements, and performance analytics.

  • Strategic approach, with experience in improving UX/UI, OOBE, application curation, and personalisation.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including hardware, engineering, marketing, and regional business units.

  • Improved collaboration with collaborators, aligning business needs, product capabilities, and market opportunities.

  • Forward-thinking approach, crafting scalable solutions to improve Gaming Hub & Instant Plays and support Samsung’s position as a leader in cloud gaming and gaming services.

  • Demonstrating advanced data insights and reporting with dashboard tracking, API integrations, and data automation to support informed, data-driven decision-making.

  • Continuous service enhancement, using data-driven feature prioritisation and deep industry knowledge to improve user experience and engagement.
