What will I be doing?

Enhance our global offering for core energy product and pricing capabilities, ensuring they meet the needs of client personas as well as internal client implementation teams.

Deep dive into global energy market structures and regulations for designated countries, translating complex needs into detailed product specifications. 

Collaborate intensely with clients and in-country experts to understand their unique needs and requirements.

Define and manage detailed product requirements for features related to country-specific needs to support energy products and pricing

Work closely with engineering, UX, and QA teams to ensure the successful implementation and testing of localised billing functionalities.

Act as the go-to expert for client implementation teams on how to localise for a particular region or client implementation.

Continuously monitor market trends and practices, proactively adapting the product roadmap to maintain compliance and competitiveness.

About You 

Ideally you’ll have/be

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager with a strong track record of working on technical products, such as API products.
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end energy lifecycle, with a particular focus on retailer commercial operations.
  • Direct experience with specific European energy markets, understanding their unique regulatory frameworks and requirements
  • Exceptional ability to translate abstract regulatory text or client requirements into clear, actionable requirements for development teams.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, operations, client success) to deliver localised solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical and market complexities to various stakeholders, including clients.

What will set you apart 

  • Experience with ‘SDK-as-a-product’ set ups, or experience building tools to enable other internal teams to move faster.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with the European energy retail markets, particularly concerning their energy products and pricing specificities.
  • Proficiency in a second European language relevant to key target markets.
  • Experience with large-scale data migration and integration projects involving legacy billing systems.
  • A background in energy commercial operations or regulatory affairs within a European energy retailer.
