Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) stands as the UK's leading consumer and commercial bank, with a presence that reaches nearly every community and household in the country. LBG is dedicated to prioritizing customers and is on a strategic path to fulfil its goal of being the Best Bank for Customers.

We're thrilled to offer an experienced professional the chance to join our Embedded Finance team within the Consumer Lending division. Consumer Lending is one of five business units designed to build on our strong foundations by focusing on how we lend – both to those who bank directly with us through our brands, and those who choose our products when using intermediaries.

About the role

We launched our first product Black Horse FlexPay a year ago and are now ready to extend the proposition to create custom white-labelled solutions for some of our largest retail and transport clients

As Product Manager – White Label, you’ll drive the development and evolution of our core white-label propositions, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading products and experience-led journeys that help us build rapid scale in Embedded Finance.

What you'll be doing...
  • Shape, prioritize, and build white-label product propositions, ensuring alignment with customer and partner needs.
  • Lead product specification development, support the development of the governance framework and help set the foundation for a white-label product which is scalable across multiple clients .
  • Analyse data from varied sources to support proposition development
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders as well as external technology partners to align and develop the product roadmap.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements gathering, across internal and external partners.
  • Develop product requirements and user-stories.
  • Support go-to-market planning and execution in the run up to launch
  • Engage with commercial and strategic outreach teams to identify new opportunities.

About us

If you think all banks are the same, you’d be wrong. We’re an innovative, fast-changing business that’s shaping finance as a force for good. A bank that’s empowering its people to innovate, explore possibilities and grow with purpose.

What you'll need...
  • Product development and roadmap management skills, with experience in shaping and delivering product propositions.
  • Stakeholder engagement abilities, building partnerships across functions and effectively managing expectations.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, facilitating discovery sessions, and translating customer outcomes into product requirements and user-stories. Even better if you're comfortable with visualization and design tools like Figma, Visio etc.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, using insights to inform product and proposition development.
  • Customer-centric outlook, with experience of delivering customer-facing digital products.
  • Strong communication and relationship management abilities.

And any experience of these would be really useful...
  • If you have worked on a white-label product or solutions delivered through third-parties

Ideal Candidate

Someone who is a keen problem solver, highly organised and able to tackle the breadth of product development with attention to detail. You'll have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and bring them along on the journey. You'll be comfortable working on tight time-lines, dealing with ambiguity in an evolving start-up environment, and passionate about finding solutions.

About working for us

Our focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.

We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity or culture.

And it’s why we especially welcome applications from under-represented groups.

We’re disability confident. So, if you’d like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know.

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:
  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
  • An annual bonus award, subject to Group performance
  • Share schemes including free shares
  • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
  • 30 days’ holiday, with bank holidays on top
