About the role

At Builder.ai we innovate, build and use state of the art AI to deliver quality software to our customers via an efficient, automated assembly pipeline of composable software blocks. One of our strengths comes from extending the range and capabilities of our composable software blocks so that we can continue to deliver advanced software at a faster pace whilst keeping costs low.   

We seek an experienced product manager to define our AI composable software strategy: What should our immediate and long term capabilities be in terms of composable AI software components?  How can we leverage our internal AI expertise to deliver state of the art and first of a kind AI solutions for our clients?

As the product manager for AI you will work across the AI, data, engineering and design teams to define and deliver our AI offerings to clients. You will work with the sales team to understand individual customer requests, the direction of the market.  The combination of your product and AI expertise will enable you to discuss with CPO, CTO and CAIO customer stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, with at least 5 years of AI product experience, including roadmap definition and collaboration with engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience with products involving RAG, agentic architectures, and/or state-of-the-art computer vision or natural language processing services
  • Comprehensive excellent understanding of the AI technology landscape and proven ability to map technologies to industry sectors and business solutions
  • Experience developing product plans and managing deadlines and goals
  • Proficiency in defining product metrics and analysing performance data
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Effective scope management skills, including impact assessment of requirement changes
  • Ability to seamlessly transition between strategic vision and critical details
  • Self-motivation with exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Composure under pressure and comfort with complexity in dynamic environments.
