So if you’ve got what we’re looking for and the desire to join a team that values creativity and empowerment, then get in touch. This role offers an excellent opportunity to get involved in and become part of the world of online learning.

About the role:

We are looking for a commercially savvy, forward-facing Product Manager to spearhead the growth of our leading-edge learning product. This is a "zero-to-one" opportunity where you will be responsible for defining the market fit for a highly innovative product that bridges the gap between generative AI and meaningful learning outcomes, delivering a product ready for the world’s largest and most innovative brands and users.

Unlike product management roles focused on backlog maintenance, this position is highly commercial and external. You will be the face of the product—partnering with our revenue teams, engaging directly with clients, and representing Learning Pool at major industry events. While you live at the leading edge of AI, every decision you make is anchored in robust learning theory to ensure we deliver a fantastic, high-performing product, not just a set of AI experiments.

Location: Remote UK or US (EST timezone)

What You Will Be Doing

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Market Shaping & Product-Market Fit: Work tirelessly to identify and secure Product-Market Fit, iterating based on rapid feedback loops from early adopters and the competitive landscape.

  • Product Advocacy & Enablement: Act as the primary subject matter expert for our Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success teams, providing them with the narrative and tools needed to win.

  • Client Engagement: Lead high-stakes discovery sessions and demonstrations with clients, translating complex AI capabilities into tangible business value. You will use deep customer insights to make the hard trade-off decisions. You aren't just listening to clients; you are deciding which features will drive the product forward and which are distractions.

  • Innovation Intelligence: Maintain a deep, relevant understanding of AI (LLMs, agents, and multi-modalities), staying ahead of limitations and opportunities within rapidly changing technology.

  • Learning-First Design: Ensure the product isn't just an exercise in AI innovation and ensure that learning theory is built into the core user experience.

  • UX Stewardship: Partner with designers to ensure the interface is world-class, intuitive, and reflects the leading-edge nature of the tech that is ready to be used by the world’s largest brands and hyperscalers alike.

Who We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • AI Fluency: You have a deep, practical understanding of current AI models and concepts. You understand the "foibles" (hallucinations, latency, token costs) as well as the opportunities for transformative UX.

  • Pedagogical Depth: You have experience in learning design or educational theory. You understand how people actually learn by drawing on influences from leading commentators and theorists and the best examples of real-world implementation, and can apply this to AI-driven product.

  • Commercial Instinct: You have a proven track record of supporting revenue growth, enabling sales teams, and navigating the nuances of B2B SaaS commercial cycles. You are measured on product adoption and successful delivery to high standards, not just lead generation or 'hype'.

  • Strategic Communication: You are a natural "evangelist" who is comfortable on stage, on camera, or in a boardroom.

  • Problem focussed: You prefer problem-solving, customer insight and advocacy over granular ticket management and backlog grooming.

  • Visual Eye: You have a refined sense of "what good looks like" in modern software design and won't settle for mediocre user experiences.
