What’s in it for you?

This is an important role, covering maternity leave, that is central to the ongoing success of our quoted products. Sitting in our product team, you’ll have full ownership on the BAU of these products, whilst working closely with the strategy team on how we might grow.

The team

Our Retail Distribution Team is known for its technical expertise and personal service. The product side of this business area is 8 strong with a breadth of experience, and forms part of a larger business function consisting of strategy and sales. In addition, you’ll collaborate with other teams such as marketing and operations, and a big part of this role is working closely with our Head of Quoted Companies.

What you’ll be doing

  • Product strategy & execution – define and deliver the product strategy for the quoted companies suite. In addition, you’ll set and review sales and outflow targets
  • Messaging & Communication – Ensure consistent, commercially effective messaging across all channels, signing off on marketing strategy and collateral, Including regulatory outputs
  • Governance & Oversight – Lead product governance including annual reviews, changes in procedures and consumer duty packs
  • Cross-Functional Leadership – Act as escalation point for complex cross functional challenges, ensuring we’re driving operational change and overseeing key supplier relationships

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

✔️ Strong commercial acumen
✔️ Proactive, detail-orientated approach with curiosity and problem-solving ability
✔️ Strong background in financial services, with exposure to product or commercial
✔️ Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally
✔️ Confidence in interpreting technical information and simplifying it for the audience

Bonus points if you have:

⭐ Experience in financial modelling
⭐ Experience in venture capital, investment management or financial products
⭐ Knowledge of the quoted companies and AIM market
