The role
We are looking for a talented product expert to join a small team of Product Managers responsible for all aspects of the product lifecycle. As the Product Manager for Delivery Management (DMX), you will be responsible for developing the product vision and strategy and taking it through to implementation and beyond. You will drive and articulate the product functionality starting from business requirements and delivering industry and product expertise in this evolving domain. We seek someone motivated by emerging standards and technologies and passionate about driving innovation and communication. A strong desire to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment is essential

Common accountabilities: 

  • Ensure high team performance: Proficient in technical knowledge to ensure the team performs at a high level. Recognized as a leader in their area and may formally train Specialists/Senior Specialists.

  • Assess and improve processes: Understand how main business drivers may impact their area. Assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity, improve processes, recommend solutions, and develop risk mitigation plans. Communicate complex information effectively.

  • Lead projects with autonomy: Work with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions. Lead projects or contribute to broad cross-functional projects. May contribute to resource and budget planning.

Specific accountabilities:

  • Develop and articulate product strategy: Define the product vision, strategy, and business value in line with business owners and stakeholders. Articulate value propositions and key messages, translating them into new product concepts or upgrades.

  • Manage product roadmap and partnerships: Define and manage the product roadmap, align timelines with stakeholders, and manage third-party partnerships, including requirement definition and prioritization.

  • Drive co-innovation and customer engagement: Collaborate with customers to validate value drivers, define product features (MVP and beyond), and prioritize based on effort and business value. Engage Amadeus teams in the product vision and ensure mutual understanding of the business.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with Product Marketing Management, Operations, and R&D teams to define priorities, release plans, and ensure end-to-end solution consistency. Participate in Agile events as required.

  • Analyze market and competitor offerings: Analyze competitors’ solutions and define the strategic positioning of the product in alignment with Product Marketing Management.

  • Manage budget and resources: Oversee the budget for the area of responsibility, including capacity planning with R&D, and ensure solutions meet users’ needs and product readiness guidelines.
