Job Description

As our Product Lead for Regional Currencies Expansion, you'll own the mission to revolutionize payments across LATAM and MEA. Your vision will guide how we build, enhance, and scale our infrastructure, making international transfers feel truly invisible and seamless—just like local payments.

You will be the driving force behind our entire currency lifecycle in these high-growth regions, from launching brand-new currencies to mastering complex pay-in and pay-out methods.

This role gives you the opportunity to:

  • Own the strategic roadmap: You'll make the high-impact calls on which currencies to launch or enhance and how to do it—whether we build, buy, or partner to win the market.
  • Lead and scale a world-class team: Mentor and inspire a group of high-performing product managers, amplifying their impact. You'll create a high-energy environment where cross-functional teams can deliver their best work.
  • Unlock explosive user growth: Directly impact our global expansion by launching new currencies and payout methods, driving acquisition, deepening user engagement, and making Wise the default choice for millions.
  • Expand the Wise Account ecosystem: Bring the full power of Wise to new markets, enabling customers to not just send money, but to hold balances, get paid, and spend like a local with their Wise card.
  • Champion our mission for speed and cost: Relentlessly optimize our existing currency corridors. You'll find and execute on opportunities to drive down costs and increase speed, ensuring we are always the cheapest, fastest, and most convenient choice.
  • Collaborate to scale faster: Work seamlessly with our core platform teams, smoothing the integration of new partners and third parties to accelerate our currency expansion at a global scale.
  • Turn complex compliance into a simple experience: Solve the toughest product challenges. You'll take complex local and global regulatory requirements and design seamless, user-friendly experiences that build trust and feel effortless.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Product Management background in Payments, building and scaling complex flows to send, add and receive money in multiple currencies.
  • Possesses a strong passion for solving complex problems using data, analytics, and cutting-edge technology.
  • Has the ability to structure highly ambiguous situations with clarity, enabling large, diverse groups of people to work together effortlessly towards a common goal.
  • Can communicate ideas clearly and persuasively across all levels of the organization, as well as to external partners and customers.
  • Exhibits a true entrepreneurial spirit, with a proven track record of getting the right things done and driving significant impact.
  • Has experience leading and mentoring product managers and product teams, demonstrating accountability for their vision and strategy.
  • Is trusted to lead team-level rituals and planning processes (e.g. company-wide quarterly planning)
  • Is comfortable challenging the status quo and pushing boundaries within the industry, with a long-term vision for how the global currency landscape should evolve.

Additional Information

What we offer:

  • RSU's in a rapidly growing company
  • An annual self-development budget
  • Flexible working model
  • 3 "me days" of PTO
