About the Hive Platform

The Hive Platform is Turner & Townsend’s digital ecosystem that transforms how construction projects are delivered, governed, and reported. Clients use Hive in two primary models:

  • Hive Data Platform – building a structured, client specific data asset to support cost estimating, benchmarking, and market intelligence.‑specific data asset to support

Job Description

We are seeking a Product Implementation Consultant to support clients in the configuration, deployment, and adoption of the Hive Platform. You will become a Hive product expert, leading clients through discovery, configuration, onboarding, training, and long-term adoption support.‑term adoption support.

You will work across all Hive apps - including Cost Control, Cost Planning, Project Management, Delivery Assurance, Benchmarking, Parametric Modelling, Market Rates, and the Hive Portal - ensuring they are configured to client needs and delivering their intended benefits.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Hive Platform Expert
    • Develop deep knowledge of all Hive apps, modules, and data structures (e.g., cost, schedule, change, risk, benchmarking datasets).
    • Understand how Hive integrates with “Commercially Off the Shelf” (COTS) tools and existing client systems.
    • Stay current with new features, releases, and roadmap developments.

 

  • Client Discovery & Requirements Gathering
    • Lead workshops to understand client delivery processes, data models, and required delivery workflows
    • Capture detailed requirements for Data or Delivery Platform deployments (or hybrid models).
    • Map client needs to Hive apps, configuration options, and integration points.

 

  • Platform Configuration & Implementation
    • Configure Hive environments including:
      • Cost Control structures
      • Cost Planning models
      • Parametric Modelling inputs & scenarios
      • Project Management modules (schedule, change, risk)
      • Market Rates libraries
      • Benchmarking datasets & methodologies
      • Portal dashboards and reporting views
    • Ensure configurations maintain consistency with Hive’s data model and standardised methodologies.
    • Conduct QA, UAT support, and readiness checks prior to go live.‑live.

 

 

  • Training, Enablement & Change Support
    • Develop training materials aligned to each Hive application and the client’s deployment model.
    • Deliver training to stakeholders, ranging from program managers, project managers and cost managers to executives accessing the Hive.
    • Support clients with communication plans, drop-in sessions, user guides, and adoption campaigns - mirroring best practice shown in recent client rollouts. ‑in sessions, user guides, and adoption campaigns

 

  • Adoption, Support & Continuous Improvement
    • Provide post implementation support to troubleshoot, optimise workflows, and embed best practice digital delivery.‑implementation support to troubleshoot, optimise workflows, and embed best‑practice digital delivery.
    • Monitor usage and adoption across apps.
    • Recommend enhancements to improve client outcomes and platform value.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor in their digital transformation.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience in SaaS or digital platform implementation, configuration, onboarding, or consultancy.
  • Strong ability to translate client processes into platform configuration.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to run training sessions, develop materials, and support change adoption.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to data structures and quality.
  • Comfortable managing multiple clients and configurations concurrently.
  • Ensure project documentation, governance, and reporting are maintained to a high standard.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross-functional stand-ups.

Desirable

  • Experience in construction, cost management, project management, or capital projects.
  • Understanding of project controls, cost reporting, benchmarking, or estimating.
  • Experience working with structured datasets or data driven reporting tools.‑driven reporting tools.
  • Exposure to digital transformation or process optimisation programmes.
  • Product management certification (e.g. AIPMM, or Scrum Product Owner).
  • Project management certification (e.g. SAFe, PRINCE2, PMP, or AgilePM).
  • Experience in scaling products in a fast-paced, agile environment.
