We have an exciting opportunity for a Product and go-to-market (GTM) Copywriter to join our Product Marketing team. This is a newly created role for someone with previous product and marketing copywriting experience that understands the principles of how to structure content and the importance of keeping brand preferred style of language and tone.

Your primary day-to-day interactions are with Product Designers, Product Marketers and Product Managers, supporting UX copy writing as well as go-to-market copy management for content such as blogs, product release notes, product one-pagers and more.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day:

  • Meet copy deadlines to support smooth running of product and UX development and activations.

  • Take on challenging content briefs to develop original product-level copy and outbound product marketing content.

  • Develop and write a wide range of product and product marketing copy and content, including web copy, creative copy and video scripts, blog articles, and copy for other communication channels.

  • Produce and deliver creative and authoritative copy which informs the reader and enhances the Amex GBT solution and product tools & features customer experience.

  • Be responsible for creating and editing copy that is clear, concise, and accurate, whilst also demonstrating excellent awareness and knowledge of brand identity and tone of voice.

  • Proofread and copy-edit content.

  • Write and support SEO copy requirements for go-to-market product content such as blogs.

  • Develop a consistent tone of voice in all copy and ensure all written communications are of a high standard and follow best practice.

  • Develop relationships with the wider brand, creative, and digital teams to ensure all copy is on brand, technically accurate and legally approved, and ensuring that the approval process is managed efficiently.

  • Implement relevant processes to uphold high standards of copywriting – ensuring consistency of language and accuracy of grammar across all key markets.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a product UX and/or marketing copywriting role in a B2B SaaS environment and demonstrable digital competency.

  • English is your native language.

  • Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related field.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail, spelling, punctuation and grammar.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Able to plan your own time and meet deadlines.

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Able to work quickly and effectively whilst keeping a high level of quality across multiple, concurrent projects.

  • Highly proficient in MS Office, Figma and other agile product tools.

  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues with an inquisitive and proactive attitude.
