The Role

We're seeking a Product Generalist to work directly with our VP Product & Technology on our highest-impact initiatives. This is not a typical product role, it's a hybrid position that combines product thinking, commercial acumen, and strategic execution. You'll tackle ambiguous problems that span product, engineering and design.

This role is perfect for someone who wants the breadth of commercial experience within a fast-growing startup, with direct exposure to product strategy, customer insights, and innovation.

What You'll Do

Product & Strategy

  • Drive product discovery and definition for new features and initiatives, working closely with engineering and design teams

  • Conduct user research, analyse product metrics, and synthesize insights to inform product roadmap decisions

  • Own end-to-end delivery of cross-functional initiatives from ideation through launch

  • Build business cases and product requirement documents that balance user needs with commercial viability

  • Identify opportunities and develop hypotheses for developing the product roadmap

Commercial & Growth

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new product releases and features

  • Analyse unit economics, pricing models, and revenue opportunities across our products

  • Partner with sales and customer teams to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements

  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to identify strategic opportunities

  • Build financial models and forecasts to support product investment decisions

Operations & Execution

  • Create frameworks and processes that improve how we build and ship product

  • Coordinate across engineering, design, legal, compliance, and commercial teams to move initiatives forward

  • Solve operational blockers that are preventing product velocity

  • Act as a force multiplier for the leadership team, taking ownership of key initiatives

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • 2 - 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy consulting or commercial roles high-growth startups

  • Exceptional product thinking, you can deconstruct complex problems, identify root causes, and design elegant solutions

  • Strong commercial instincts with experience in business modelling, pricing strategy, or revenue analysis

  • Data-driven mindset with ability to translate metrics into actionable insights

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, you can articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively

  • Self-starter mentality with proven ability to drive projects from 0 to 1 with minimal direction

  • Bias toward action and comfortable operating in ambiguity

Highly Valued

  • Experience in fintech, proptech or similar industries. Founder Associate experience is a huge plus.

  • Previous exposure to SaaS or marketplace business models

  • Technical fluency, you don't need to code but should be comfortable working closely with engineers

  • Experience conducting user research and synthesising customer insights

  • Background in early-stage startups or having worn multiple hats in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated interest in proptech, investtech or fintech
