About the role

We are engaging for a motivated Internship Product Engineer to join our team. The entry-level role will be involved in managing basic SKU data-related tasks, including creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM) and setting up SAP data.

You will work autonomously as part of a multi-disciplined team, Iteratively, to create robust specifications & designs on spec, on time, to cost and quality targets.

Responsibilities include:

  • SKU Management

    • Assist in the creation and development of SKUs for new and existing products from SKU setup until SOP.

    • Ensure SKU data is accurately recorded and maintained in relevant systems.

    • Support in coordinating with different teams to verify and update SKU information.

  • Bill of Materials (BOM) Management

    • Help in developing and maintaining BOMs for products.

    • Work with senior engineers and teams to update BOMs based on design changes or production needs.

  • Change Request Management

    • Assist in managing change requests, including tracking, documentation, and implementation.

    • Support the review and evaluation of change requests to assess impact on SKUs, BOMs, and production processes.

    • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth implementation of approved changes.

  • SAP Data Management

    • Support the setup and maintenance of SKU-related data in SAP.

    • Ensure data accuracy and assist in resolving any SAP-related issues.

  • Problem Solving

    • Assist in identifying and analyzing issues related to SKUs, BOMs, and SAP data.

    • Collaborate with team members to help develop and implement solutions.

About you
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent.

  • Basic understanding of SKU management, BOM creation, and SAP data setup.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
