Your missionThe problem you’ll solve: You’ll turn complex user needs into simple, elegant product experiences that help millions of students learn more effectively - at speed and scale.
Your ownership:
Build and own end-to-end product features that are used daily by millions of students, directly impacting how they learn and engage.
Partner closely with product, design, and data to shape what we build - developing strong product opinions and translating them into impactful features.
Focus on outcomes over implementation, using the best tools (including AI) to move fast and deliver real user and business value.

What success looks like: You’ll ship fast, learn quickly, and see your work used by millions of students around the world. You’ll contribute to both product direction and engineering quality - bringing clarity to trade-offs, opinions to discussions, and impact to metrics. Over time, you’ll become a key voice in the product-engineering loop, known for turning ideas into shipped, loved, and measurable outcomes.

Your track record
You’ve built real products in a fast-moving environment — shipping features, fixing bugs, and balancing quality with speed. You bring hands-on experience with either frontend/mobile frameworks like Flutter, React, or Vue.js, or backend technologies like Go, TypeScript, or Python. You care deeply about users, love clean interfaces, and aren’t afraid to get scrappy to solve real problems.
Must-haves
Experience with software engineering in a startup or fast-paced environment
Proficiency with at least one modern frontend/mobile framework or backend language
Strong interest in consumer products and solving real user problems
Fluent English; German is a plus
Ready to work from our Berlin office 4 days/week (with some flexibility!)
