Product Engineer (Android)

We're looking for an Android Engineer who loves building products in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

In this role, you'll build on the insights gained from our iOS application to create a new Android app for our users. You'll engage directly with users to understand their needs and develop the features that matter most to them. As part of the team, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling Granola to reach our next 100x users.

• Own the development of our Android application

• Optimize the application for speed, reliability, and security

• Interact with users to understand their problems and design solutions

• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, designers, and other members of the team to create a cutting-edge product

• Experience developing high-quality, performant Android applications

• Proficiency with Android development (Kotlin, Java, and related frameworks)

• Track record of debugging, profiling, and optimizing Android applications

• Experience with TypeScript and React.js is a strong plus

• Are first and foremost a builder

• Are excited to work in-person from our office in London (most of the time)

• Love working in a startup environment (you either have experience working in a startup or are really drawn to the zero-to-one phase)

• Value working with people who are kind, ambitious and pragmatic

• Have an interest in AI/ML (direct experience not required)

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and priorities

We are living in the most exciting time for tool builders since Engelbart's demo in 1968. We want to assemble the best crew to build this future together, here in London. Our compensation philosophy is to pay slightly above market on salary and above market on equity.

We do our best work in person, and so our team spends time together five days per week in our new, bright, and spacious office at Old Street. We are happy to offer relocation assistance to candidates who'll be moving to London to join us.
