Job Purpose:
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and managing a team to support R&D priority medicines throughout their late-stage development journey. You will collaborate with R&D contacts, including the R&D Portfolio Team and Hyper-Acceleration Leads, to ensure ongoing alignment and support for priority medicines. Additionally, you will map and support digital processes, drive effective partnering with Medicines Development Teams (MDTs), and develop service metrics to demonstrate the value of support services. You will also manage GCP inspection responsibilities, strengthen risk management practices, and streamline user access management. By fostering collaboration, removing blockers, and consistently meeting customer needs, you will deliver substantial value to GSK.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead R&D Digital & Tech Support Team: Establish and manage a team to support R&D priority medicines throughout their late-stage development journey, ensuring alignment with R&D’s key developmental assets.

Build and Maintain Networks: Develop and sustain relationships with R&D contacts, including the R&D Portfolio Team and Hyper-Acceleration Leads, to ensure ongoing alignment and support for priority medicines.

Map and Support Digital Processes: Identify and maintain a comprehensive mapping of digital and tech processes and systems, ensuring visibility and support for all products used by R&D priority asset teams.

Drive Effective Partnering: Collaborate with R&D Medicines Development Teams (MDTs) to understand and support the digital and tech dependencies of priority assets, ensuring successful milestone delivery and risk mitigation.

Develop Service Metrics and Awareness: Create metrics to demonstrate the value of support services, identify customer pain points, and enhance awareness of R&D’s priority medicines within the Digital & Tech team.

Manage GCP Inspection Responsibilities: Coordinate tech support for GCP inspections, ensuring timely responses and providing necessary resources.

Strengthen Risk Management: Implement proactive risk management practices, safeguarding support from potential disruptions.

User Access Management: Streamline User Access Management, arrive at a compelling roadmap, and ensure a unified process to manage users across platforms including Veeva to ensure optimal license usage.

Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience in computer science or a related technical discipline.

In-depth knowledge of digital and tech support in a life sciences context.

Significant experience delivering business impact through IT-enabled solutions, with a background in team management and support services.

Proficiency in GCP inspections, risk management, and user access management.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with R&D processes and systems.

Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
