Equifax is in search of a senior Product leader to oversee the strategy, development, and management of our Consumer Product Domain

What you’ll do

  • The Product Director plays a crucial role in the successful execution of the UK growth strategy. 

  • This position entails defining, developing, and implementing the product strategy for the Consumer product domain, including ownership of the product proposition, management of the existing product portfolio, and the creation of product roadmaps, as well as the delivery of New Product Initiatives (NPI). 

  • You will lead a talented Product team in the ideation, management of current offerings, and execution of New Product Initiatives as outlined in the Strategy Playbook (SPB) and Product Domain Strategies, while adhering to the standards set forth in the Equifax Product Management Handbook (PMHB).

What experience you need 

  • Candidates must possess expertise in financial services, with a comprehensive understanding of credit reference agencies (CRAs), data analytics, and consumer credit regulations. 

  • A robust background in Consumer Lending is essential, along with extensive experience and a strong network within the UK Consumer Lending sector. 

  • You should be a subject matter expert on both current and emerging consumer credit regulations and trends. 

  • Experience in developing, launching, and managing products in Consumer Lending is required, and has led Consumer Risk teams or held similar roles within Credit Reference agencies. 

  • A passion for data, analytics, and problem-solving is essential, as is a solid understanding of FCA regulations, including but not limited to Consumer Duty, CONC, and MCOB, as well as model development.
