Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Principal Product Manager to lead the development of AI and machine learning-based solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our AI product portfolio, translating complex technologies into impactful business applications. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders in data science, engineering, customer success, and business leadership to deliver innovative AI capabilities that solve real-world problems.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI applications and capabilities.
Lead end-to-end product development for complex AI solutions, including LLM-based and ML-based products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into technical product requirements.
Prioritise product features and decisions based on business impact, technical feasibility, and user needs.
Apply product frameworks and decision-making models to ensure clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
Conduct market and user research to identify opportunities and validate product direction.
Own product performance metrics and iterate based on feedback and data insights.
Champion responsible and ethical AI practices throughout the product lifecycle.
Prepare and lead case study evaluations during the hiring process to assess candidate fit.
Requirements
Proven experience in building AI/ML products, ideally from zero to one.
Strong technical understanding of AI systems, including architecture, data pipelines, and model integration.
Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders across CS, tech, data science, and business leadership.
Experience applying product management frameworks in technical environments.
Ability to break down complex problems, prioritise effectively, and drive clarity in decision-making.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Background in product management with a focus on AI; engineering experience is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with tools and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS/Azure/GCP, and agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field.
5+ years in product management, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML solutions.
Experience in launching AI products that achieved strong adoption and business impact.
Understanding of ethical and regulatory considerations in AI development.
