We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our team. You will play a key role in crafting intuitive and impressive experiences across our digital products. Partnering with product managers, engineers, and marketers, you’ll transform complex financial concepts into accessible and impactful designs that align with our brand and user-centric philosophy.

How You’ll Contribute

Reporting to the Lead Product Designer, you’ll be embedded in one of our multidisciplinary teams and will:

  • Own the user experience of your squad from conception to launch.
  • Collaborate with the entire design team on company-wise objectives.
  • Help build, iterate and improve the Kroo design system.
  • Understand the attitudinal and behavioural needs of the Kroo customer.
  • Champion human-centred problem-solving within the organisation.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of design quality.
  • Shape the design direction of the world’s first social bank.
  • This role is for an individual contributor.
  • This role does not include managerial responsibilities.
Requirements

About You

You enjoy solving complex problems and creating effective design solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teammates. You have creative competencies that allow you to navigate the ambiguity typical of nonlinear challenges. You have a natural curiosity that enables you to uncover unmet needs, identify driving questions and generate hypotheses. You have technical abilities that allow you to materialise ideas and craft narratives that engage stakeholders at any level.

You have previous experience with, and a consolidated understanding of the following:

  • Designing considering user needs, technical constraints and business goals.
  • Designing end-to-end solutions autonomously.
  • Designing following mobile and web design guidelines.
  • Designing using Figma and several prototyping tools.
  • Mentoring Juniors.
  • Presenting to C-suite.

About Our Process (remote via Google Hangout)

We understand that competency is contextual, so throughout the process, we aim to gain an understanding of your experience and, if successful, to provide you with a role reflective of your demonstrated seniority. Our general interview process is as follows, but if your circumstances or timescales require it, we can be flexible with its structure:

  • 30 mins with our People Team.
  • 30 mins session with our Lead Product Designer.
  • 60 mins where you'll present your take-home design task to the hiring panel as part of the design challenge.
  • 30 mins with of our Chief Product Officer.

Hybrid Working:

Keep in mind that this job involves working from Monday to Friday, with a mix of remote and office work, so you won't need to be on-site all the time.
