The summary above was generated by AI

At QuantCo, we are at the forefront of delivering algorithmic solutions to quantitative problems for some of the world's largest enterprises.

As our first Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our technology and the people who use it: While our core value proposition lies in our machine learning algorithms, their full potential is unlocked through intuitive experiences. Your designs will bring clarity and actionability to our products, making machine learning accessible to end-users and decision-makers alike.

Requirements

  • Experience in designing complex and data-dense web applications for domain experts in their respective fields.
  • A generalist skill set. You can handle projects from the early stages all the way through execution. Coding skills are a plus, but not required.
  • A demonstrated ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make smart decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that allow you to contribute meaningfully to planning and alignment.
  • You have business proficiency in English. Conversational proficiency in German is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Turn complex problems into easy-to-use, efficient, and intuitive interfaces.
  • Own the design process end-to-end: from research, to requirement definition, user flows, information architecture, and micro interactions. Build a suite of products from the ground up, establishing our visual language and design system.
  • Conduct user research and user testing sessions to gather both qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to help define strategy and vision for both short-term and long-term projects.

You will be part of a smart and motivated team that strives to deliver thoughtful and impactful products. We offer a generous compensation package that includes a base salary, bonus, and stock options, along with additional location-based benefits.
