As a Product Designer at Perk, you'll work within a cross-functional team alongside a Product Manager and full-stack engineers in our Perk Events team.
Your primary responsibility will be designing the user experience for our events booking flows, everything from planning and booking group travel to inviting participants. You'll be part of a team focused on a specific aspect of this experience.
You will collaborate alongside a Senior Designer in the Perk Events team, with constant support from our Design peers. You'll own the features you design end-to-end—working with the Product Manager on goals, strategy, and discovery, through exploration and detailed design, and partnering with engineers to ensure quality implementation within timeline.
This is a UX/UI role with significant emphasis on UI responsibilities. You won't just be designing features, you'll be elevating the overall experience through improvements to information architecture, visuals, and interaction.
Required SkillsExperience 3+ years working as a Product Designer (ideally with SaaS products)
UI and interaction design: You have a strong grasp of visual, interaction and usability principles and know how to apply them to modern, complex interfaces across web and mobile.
System thinking and information architecture: You can turn complex information into clarity and architect information so users can move through intricate flows with ease.
Prototyping and tools: You're able to bring experiences to life beyond static screens, showing how a user experience flows and adapts across scenarios.
User research and testing: You have experience conducting user interviews and user testing, and you can craft a research plan with the help of more senior peers.
Technical collaboration: You grasp how software works conceptually and work effectively with engineers. You're comfortable with design systems.
Business thinking: You can work effectively with Product Managers, translating business goals into impactful design decisions.
Autonomy and communication: You work autonomously, present ideas confidently, and facilitate workshops. Fluent English required.
AI tools: You're comfortable using AI tools to enhance your workflow. You experiment with AI, use it efficiently, understand its principles, and stay curious about its potential.
Your portfolio should include at least 2 case studies. Each case study must show:
Your design process: Share what actually happened, even if it wasn't perfect.
Collaboration: Who did you work with?
Final work: Include visual examples (interactive prototypes or videos are even better)
Project context: State the client/company, your role, and whether it was a personal project
Specific examples: Show real work, not generic descriptions
Keep it simple and easy to read. A PDF or Figma link works fine—no need for a custom website.
Is this role right for you? This role requires strong UI and interaction design skills, including a solid understanding of the theoretical principles behind effective interface design. If you're passionate about UI design and want to grow these skills further, we'd love to hear from you. If you're exploring other areas of design, feel free to check our careers page—we have roles where different skill sets are the primary focus.
