Team & Role
As a Product Designer (Mid-Level, Research Focus), you will play a key role in shaping new SaaS investment products for the financial industry. This role will be heavily focused on product discovery and user research, ensuring we build solutions that genuinely address user needs. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to define problems, test solutions, and deliver intuitive user experiences.
You will be responsible for both greenfield projects and incremental improvements to the platform. While UI design and prototyping are part of the role, we are particularly looking for someone who enjoys deeply understanding user needs and validating concepts through research.
You will report to our Senior Designer and contribute to shaping our overall UX & Design strategy.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong user research skills and confidence in product discovery techniques
- Ability to define user experiences from discovery through to launch, partnering with product managers and engineers
- Ability to take broad, conceptual ideas and shape them into well-defined, validated product experiences
- Experience in conducting and analysing user interviews, usability testing, and data-driven research
- Ability to develop personas, customer journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes
- Contribution to and expansion of our Design System library
Your Skills & Expertise
- Must-Have:
- 2+ years of experience designing B2B or analytics products
- Strong user research, product discovery, and user testing skills
- Confidence in prototyping with Figma to validate designs with users and team members
- Experience with interaction design, information architecture, and design systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Nice-to-Have:
- Solid UI design skills, though not the primary focus
- Experience with React component libraries and front-end collaboration
- Basic understanding of financial markets and investment reporting
