Job Description
Join our dynamic team, born from the successful launch of Chase UK in 2021, where we create customer-centric products that address real-world challenges. We foster an environment that values collaboration, curiosity, and commitment, helping you realize your potential. Be a part of our diverse team, comprising professionals from top tech giants and FinTech innovators, as a Lead Product Designer in a flat-structure organization.
As the Product Design Lead within the Accelerator, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end cutting-edge solutions by leveraging the latest technologies and best industry practices. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, Ops, Risk & Compliance to shape end-to-end enterprise product experiences. Your role will involve translating market, customer, and stakeholder insights into clear problem statements and design hypotheses, designing complex multi-persona workflows, and balancing usability, business goals, regulatory constraints, scalability, and technical feasibility in solution options. You will produce artefacts across fidelities, run structured usability and validation sessions, define success metrics, contribute to a robust design system, collaborate closely with engineering, champion accessibility, and mentor designers.
Job responsibilities
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, Ops, Risk & Compliance to shape end-to-end enterprise product experiences.
  • Translate market, customer, and stakeholder insights (discovery calls, usage analytics into clear problem statements and design hypotheses.
  • Design complex multi-persona workflows (admin consoles, role/permission models, dashboards, reporting, audit & reconciliation flows).
  • Balance usability, business goals, regulatory constraints, scalability, and technical feasibility in solution options.
  • Produce artefacts across fidelities: problem framing, service blueprints, IA, user journeys, flow diagrams, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, interactive prototypes.
  • Run structured usability and validation sessions with targeted personas and iterate based on evidence.
  • Define success metrics with Product (task success, time-to-value, activation, retention) and feed learnings into the roadmap.
  • Contribute to and evolve a robust design system (component governance, accessibility, tokenisation, dark mode, localisation readiness).
  • Collaborate closely with engineering for implementation quality (specs, redlines, edge cases, states, performance considerations) & champion accessibility, data privacy, security affordances, and auditability in design decisions.
  • Help prioritise the design backlog, estimate effort and unblock dependencies & mentor designers, promote shared standards and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications
  • Proven experience designing complex B2B / enterprise or fintech SaaS products (multi-persona, roles/permissions, data-dense UI).
  • Portfolio showing depth in problem framing, systems thinking, workflow optimisation, and measurable impact (not only final screens).
  • Strength in simplifying dense information (tables, visualisations, form-heavy flows, error & exception handling).
  • Ability to reconcile competing stakeholder needs (compliance vs. speed, configurability vs. simplicity).
  • Fluency in modern web & mobile patterns; awareness of technical constraints (APIs, microservices, data latency, security).
  • Experience leveraging product analytics (e.g., funnels, cohort, event models) to guide design thinking.
  • Design system contribution experience.
  • Bachelor's in Design / HCI or equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications
  • Clear, outcome-oriented communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity; can impose structure quickly.
  • Collaborative, low-ego; uplifts cross-functional partners.
  • Decisive with trade-offs; data and insight driven.
  • Adapts to rapid iteration in an agile, distributed environment.
  • Curious, pragmatic, systems thinker.
