What you'll do
- Demonstrate talent and passion for designing end-to-end experiences
- Work with a small group to complete a challenging, real-world project
- Distill complex problems into approachable steps through customer discovery, sketching, prototyping, and sharing ideas with your cross-functional team
- Receive coaching and mentorship from a Product Experience Designer
- Partner with product managers and engineering leaders to work through technical tradeoffs that affect product roadmaps
- Partner with other designers to collaborate on shared patterns, product vision, and design goals
- Currently enrolled in an accredited school program (undergraduate or graduate) or enrolled full time in an equivalent training program, pursuing a degree or certificate in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related technical field
- Available for a full-time 12-week internship, working from our London office 3-5 days a week during the summer (May-Aug)
- Product design experience, especially designing technical tools for business
- Ability to quickly grasp technical domains, such as internet security, network services, and translate them into clear, intuitive user experiences
- Understanding of Design System, Accessibility concerns for SaaS products
- Experience or strong interest in designing experiences that simplify and communicate complex information
- Ability to advocate for customer centered design and be the voice of customers
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
