About the Role 

As a member of the Creative Services team, the Product Creative blends creative support with consumer product development (apparel, home, toys, fashion) for the licensee base within their cluster. Reporting to the Regional PD Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the clients’ approval processes are adhered to and support the creative execution of product category ranges including apparel, home, toys and fast fashion. Liaising with the local commercial team, global Creative team and Designers in Europe & Asia, the role requires a candidate who is inquisitive about product trend in the market.  

Job Description

Creative Support: 

  • Identify trends and develop inspirational materials across key categories such as apparel, accessories, FMCG, toys & home.  

  • Utilizing WGSN provide weekly updates back to the team on emergent themes. 

  • Scheduled comp shopping, store checks and competitor benchmarking 

  • Generate creative guidance and compelling category mock-ups and visualizations for use in pitch materials to inspire the licensee base and new consumer product ranges.  

Product Development: 

  • Responsible for managing the end-to-end approvals process 

  • Ensure all product submissions are managed in accordance with the submission process for the relevant brand. 

  • Onboard and run sessions with new/existing Licensees  

  • Drive Licensee brand engagement for Peanuts, Teletubbies, In the Night Garden and many more by conducting style guide refreshers.  

  • Deliver weekly updates to the Regional PD Lead including reports noting Licensee developments, status and asset updates. 

  • Support the PDM and Regional Lead with the daily management of the samples cupboard and review physical production samples. 

Project Management:  

  • Liaise with Licensors to ensure their feedback is appropriate and solution-driven. 

  • Proactively manage Licensees range development ensuring to identify gaps in article development and/or standard of execution. 

  • Maintain Monday.com listings for any creative work undertaken. 

  • Provide training and guidance on systems, such as Mediabox where required to do so. 

  • Manage and review quarterly Licensee reports highlighting designs in selection and those that have been selected / raised purchase orders. 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Experience within licensing: good knowledge of the consumer product development and approval processes and experience in creatively driving range development. 

  • A proactive, solution driven mind set to deliver against deadlines. 

  • A good understanding of consumer product categories and their production limitations. 

  • Proficient with using online approval software including running reports. 

  • Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft packages. 

  • Ability to communicate a clear change in design/direction whilst managing all stakeholders. 

  • Wider knowledge of licensing and popular products in the market and a natural interest in consumer product. 

  • Excellent time management skills, used to managing multiple projects. 

  • An eye for detail
