The role

As a Product Analyst, you will be instrumental in shaping Rightmove's product roadmap through data-driven insights. You will collaborate closely with product teams to understand their goals, analyse user behaviour, and identify opportunities for improvement. Your expertise in data analysis and visualisation will enable you to uncover hidden patterns, measure product performance, and make data-informed recommendations.  

What you’ll be doing 

Data Analysis and Insights  

  • Conduct data analysis to support product decision-making and identify trends and patterns 
  • Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success 
  • Provide deep insights and recommendations to influence the product roadmap, driving innovation and growth. 
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform product strategy and roadmap 

Product Support 

  • Collaborate with product teams to understand product goals and requirements 
  • Assist in the development and testing of new products features and enhancements  
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and product improvement. 

Collaboration 

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure alignment and support for data-driven initiatives. 
  • Support the Director of Data & Analytics and Analytics Manager in developing best in class analytics solutions.  
  • Manage and mentor members of the team to build a high-performing, data-driven culture. 
  • Prioritisation of projects and allocate resources effectively to maximise the impact of the analytics team.  

Data Implementation Understanding  

  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure data quality and accuracy, providing clear requirements and feedback on data collection processes.  
  • Troubleshoot basic tracking issues independently and escalate complex problems to implementation specialists. 

We’re looking for someone who 

  • Has a proven track record in delivering data-driven insights with a measurable impact on business outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  
  • Demonstrates a solid foundational understand of data implementation principles, including app tracking, tags, and data layers.  
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency in SQL and BigQuery, with experience in Google Analytics 4 (GA4).  
  • Has a strong foundation in data visualisation tools like Looker Core and Data Studio. 
  • Is a strategic thinker with a passion for experimentation and hands-on experience with digital testing methodologies. 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, building strong partnerships with stakeholders and sharing knowledge openly within a collaborative team.  
  • Possesses exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.  
  • Effectively conveys complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences through strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment, readily adapting to changing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.  
  • Stays informed about industry advancements and emerging data technologies to drive continuous improvement.
