About The Role 
 
The Product Analyst within Consumer, Customer and Expert in the Tech organization will partner with Global Expert Team, plus cross functional Tech teams to deliver continuous improvements for Tech products within the respective domain to support the business requirements. You will be accountable for business and technical analysis for products changes, alignment with the business on product roadmaps, and partnering on technical deliverables ensuring setup of products is aligned with compliance requirements. 

 
Key Responsibilities 

  • Business Analysis: Work with various business stakeholders from different functions to define the requirements for Product development, new features, and capabilities.  

  • Product management: Manage the backlog for dedicated Expert squads, working as part of the team on product development with developers, testers, and other product analysts. 

  • Technical Configuration/Customization: Work with developers, architects, and internal Tech partners to conduct technical configuration/customization of solutions that meet our customers’ needs and provide a great user experience. 

  • Product Domain: Understand the product domain from a technology perspective but also understand how the technology adds value to the related business processes & areas and manage & assess incoming demand as part of a product backlog. 

  • Quality, Risk & Compliance: Accountable for ensuring all products supporting the business are compliant with internal security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements e.g. GxP, SARBOX and that Tech continuity plans are in place for all business-critical products. 

  • Change & Release management: Manage change activity, including Software as a Service delivered change, into the production service in a compliant and efficient manner. 

  • Data Protection: Develop a sound knowledge of Haleon policies and processes regarding protection of sensitive data. 
     

Qualifications and skills 

Essential 

  • 2+ years of Experience of working in a Product Lead organisation, gathering requirements and translating them into Epics, Features and User Stories 

  • 2+ years of Experience working with technical development, web design, solution design, program and product delivery and service management in a large global organization. 

  • Experience of working, effectively, with third-party vendors and diverse teams (countries and cultures). 

  • A good understanding of User Centric Design and partnering with User Experience representatives. 

  • Experience of working across Global Markets and a good understanding of the nuances that come with this. 

  • Strong analytics and problem solving skills. 

  • Excellent relationship management, strong influencing and communication skills 

  • Understanding of Product Management through Agile Software Development, toolsets experience in Scrum, Kanban, SAFE desirable. 

  • Excellent English language skills in speech and writing 
      

Preferred 

  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Aha! 

  • Experience in Product Management and the Software Development Lifecycle
