Job Summary
We are looking for a Processing Sales Manager to join our Client’s successful UK and IE Processing Sales Team and support sustainable and profitable growth In this role you will represent Our Client in the United Kingdom developing new sales business with selected customers across all food categories
This is a permanent home based position supported by the London Paddington office The role requires approximately 30 percent travel to customer sites within the UK.
Preferred location Midlands or North of the UK
Please note that no relocation support is included for this role
What You Will Do
- Develop processing business with selected customers or customer groups within the food industry
- Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned customers
- Interpret customer needs and ensure the offering meets those needs
- Ensure customer benefits and value are clearly understood and communicated
- Prepare quotations where appropriate
- Present proposals benefits and value arguments to customers
- Use CRM systems to accurately manage the sales pipeline and forecast new business
- Negotiate orders to achieve expected selling prices
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions in line with Client’s Business Critical Terms
We Believe You Have
- Degree in Engineering Food Science or equivalent
- Five plus years experience in sales management preferably in dairy prepared food or beverage industries
- Experience selling capital goods in a B2B environment
- Experience using and maintaining CRM systems
- Knowledge of dairy beverage cheese plant based and prepared food technologies and industrial production
- Fluent English written and spoken
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage limited resources
- Self motivated proactive and flexible approach
- Ability to challenge existing practices and promote positive behaviors
- Experience developing and managing customer plans
- Good presentation skills
