You will be responsible for defining and implementing Engineering digitization roadmap, supporting the growth and the excellence of the business through the implementation of engineering digital capabilities. You will be responsible for managing the roadmap of design and configuration tools, productivity and process digitization, modeling and simulation, and scouting of new software to support design engineers. You will collaborate with diverse interdisciplinary teams to design, develop and implement new technology solutions.
 

As a Process, Tool, Digitization and Transformation Engineer- Climate Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive process, tool, and digitization roadmap aligned with the CTS strategic objectives. Conducting thorough assessments of existing functional processes and tools to identify inefficiencies and areas for process improvement and digital transformation. Developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and risk assessments. Monitoring project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

  • Collaborating with DTE, preparing technical specifications for the selection and performance of new products, ensuring the digital solutions will be aligned with performance and sustainability requirements. Creating and managing advanced product and plant configurators, improving customization and efficiency in the design and production phases. Developing and delivering training programs to ensure user adoption for implemented tools, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.

  • Leading the process mapping and analyzing efforts to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Identifying opportunities for automation and digitization of manual processes. Leading the development and implementation of digital solutions, such as workflow automation, data analytics, and digital platforms. Developing and deploying automation tools and workflows to streamline repetitive tasks.

  • Aligning the development of model-based designs for processes to CTS Engineering strategy. Serving as a key practitioner in process simulation on the Modeling and Simulation Steering Committee, providing expert guidance on best practices and strategic direction. Supporting the planning and execution of Modeling and Simulation Symposiums.

  • Collaborating with AI team, designing and developing automations to support design engineers (i.e. technical specifications analysis), using artificial intelligence technologies to optimize decision making and data management, and to accelerate technology development and improve design quality.

  • Identifying and evaluating new software tools that can enhance the productivity, accuracy, and efficiency of design and engineering processes. Preparing recommendations for the acquisition and implementation of new software tools. Staying abreast of the latest trends and developments in the field of design and engineering software.

  • Working closely with product, Digital Technology, R&D, Digital Thread Engineering and other departmental teams to ensure integration of engineering digital solutions into business processes. Managing stakeholder communication and ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Have an MSc. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

  • Have good experience in Digital Transformation, Engineering, Process optimization, or similar role.

  • Have advanced skills in process digitization, with a great ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.

  • Have very good understanding of engineering design processes and methodologies.

  • Be proficient in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

  • Have experience with digital technologies and tools (e.g., O365 apps, RPA, workflow automation, data analytics, Oracle ERP, Primavera P6, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence).

  • Be proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau...).

  • Have excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Experience with Agile methodologies is advantageous.

  • Have excellent and proven interpersonal and communication, problem solving and influencing skills

  • Have the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, with proper time management and continuous improvement mindset, in a busy and dynamic environment.

  • Have very good organizational, problem identification and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
