Job Description:

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to BPSS and Export Control checks (including a criminal record check) 

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel within UK and international

LOCATION: Broughton (primarily on site, with occasional remote work)

TYPE: Full time

Airbus has an opportunity for a Process Operations Manager to join the Manufacturing Engineering team at Broughton. You will primarily work within the Business Methods Engineering team in order to influence and improve Process System Efficiency (PSE) and Operational Process Management in line with the Airbus Business Management System.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM 

  • Define, improve (based on operational feedback and local inputs), and lead the deployment of the process in the local area, ensuring adequate resources and a robust link to local Operational Managers.

  • Provide essential local inputs for the Risk Mitigation Plan, Process Performance measurements, resource model, and process referential documentation.

  • Serve as the local channel for process improvement by providing feedback to the Process Management Team, supporting Change Request Management, and implementing necessary changes and adjustments after deployment.

  • Provide and support cost improvement actions (analysis, concept creation, technical solutions) and perform Benchmarking activities (internal and external) to benefit the organization.

  • Contribute to the overall process maturity and adherence strategies and support internal and external audits (e.g., EASA, EN9100).

ABOUT YOU

  • Aerospace experience.

  • Operational manufacturing background.

  • Some level of proven leadership skills.

  • Some level of quality experience (root cause analysis and investigations).
