What you'll be doing:

  • Lead performance optimisation initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing plant improvements

  • Partner with operations teams to upgrade equipment and optimise settings while securing strong supplier guarantees

  • Develop business cases for recycling sector growth and create technical designs including PFDs, mass flow analyses, and facility layouts

  • Coordinate design progression with stakeholders and evaluate plant/machine performance

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and industry standard adherence

  • Deliver clear technical communications through professional reports and presentations

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in engineering (Mechanical, Process, Industrial, or Electrical) or waste management and recycling sector.

  • Proven track record in developing feasibility studies and business cases for projects

  • Strong background in sorting/recycling processes and related industries
